With all the ATO’s and signing of some college players, any thoughts about who of the current roster on one year deals might be kept? Would have thought they might re-sign some at this time of year.

They definitely still need D next year so maybe Czuczman & Trotman stick around, if they don't feel like they have a better chance at getting NHL call-ups elsewhere.

Oh and Summers.

Hawkins has had solid consistent production his whole NCAA career. Looks like the smaller/speedy type winger.
He's signed for next year as well to go with Kim(D) and Berger. Thats signed to Wilkes.
Lucchini has an NHL contract.

ETA: Bit more on Hawkins. He's 24 and played at 2 NCAA schools sitting out a mandatory year.
Small but plays a Rust like game. Here's a recent game(#10 in white):

Looks like he can wire a puck too. He's small but sturdy.

ETA: Another recent game. He's definitely a sturdy kid that likes to throw his body around. No slouch in offensive skill/vision either. Thats him who sealed the wall then set up the OT winner.
You can tell he's a guy PIT brass would like to bring in and see if they get anything out of him.

Too bad Providence also won. Still 3 points out of a playoff spot and running out of time.

What's the deal with Lafferty? Any chance he makes the big club next year? Pretty solid college career followed up with an excellent rookie season with WBS.

I can see him getting a cup of coffee if he continues being the best C down there, but I imagine he'll get most of the season to keep maturing as there's no need to rush him and he's clearly got room for growth left.

I think Lafferty and Miletic will be our Sheary, Rust, Blueger type call ups next year.
With the usual surprise coming along, although those tend to go back to WBS for more polish.

Very WBS curious next season, gonna be a real puzzle for what's best for team/players imho.

Baby Pens up 2-0 only a minute in. First goal was Lucchini putting the puck into an empty net after Myers had a horrific turnover trying to pass to his D partner. Second goal was Lafferty carrying the puck into the O zone nicely, set up Haggerty along the wall for a low-percentage shot, goalie blockered the puck into the slot and Miletic buried it before the goalie could recover.
