Leafs fan in town for tomorrow’s game - are the usual pregaming places (Tom Reid’s, Herbie’s, etc) gonna open up a bit earlier or is it still just 11am? You guys have had a lot more matinees than us over the years, so y’all would know best.

Thanks! Also hope to see some small tribute or moment of silence for Borje Salming. Would be fitting due to MN’s heavy ancestral ties to Scandinavia and how much of a hero he was to Swedish hockey.

I would expect them to be open at 11am, with it being Black Friday I don’t expect them to open earlier.

Hi.

Me and my brother are travelling from Norway to Minnesota 10-14th february. We have tickets for the games against NJ Devils and FL Panthers. This will be our first visit to Minnesota, and we are staying in Minneapolis Downtown.

We would be very happy if we could get some tips from you guys who know the city. Where should we eat and drink pre game?

Any other tips for lunch/drinks downtown Minneapolis?

Last question: We would like to catch Super Bowl at a bar on the sunday. Any tips for places that we could book in advance, with good food and drinks?

Thanks, Morten

There is a stretch of restaurants/bars right outside the Excel Center that most people will be at for pre game and post game. Tom Reid’s and Cossettas would be the landmarks for you, this is in St. Paul though, you can’t go wrong if you follow all the people in jerseys.

I will say that the Minneapolis restaurant scene has changed quite a bit since Covid hit, there are lots of options though for all different budgets and no shortages of bars to catch the Super Bowl at, you may want to do some research around where you are staying, there are likely many options available in your immediate vicinity.

Someone else may have better Minneapolis suggestions, it’s been a while since I lived or even visited downtown.

Don't know why it took me so long, but I finally had my first Parlour burger a few weeks ago and it's incredible. Actually got it from their food truck and not the restaurant, but they have a place not too far from the Xcel as well on West 7th. Definitely recommend.

Hey guys. I have a group of 20-25 ppl (5 families) coming for the first game of the Twins/Pirates series in August. Where are the best options to sit for a group of this size?

We will have several young kids attending their first MLB game.

Where is the best place to stay? One night in Minneapolis only, travelling from Wisconsin to Fargo so the women can go to Pink.

Thanks in advance. Feel free to PM me.

Quick question for the locals, which bus/train would be the best for getting from a noon Vikings game to a 5 o clock wild game?
In the delta sky club so I will be in no shape to drive after football

You would take the green line LRT from US Bank Stadium to downtown St Paul. You'll need to walk a few blocks from the station in St Paul to Xcel Energy Center.
