Poms is a 3 time 30 goal scorer and a 4 time 20 goal scorer. People tend to forget how good he was in his prime. If Vic ends up with close to those numbers I think everyone would be impressed.
Impressive but i think VO can score 40. Atleast 30+ with a solid role

Anyone remember his first development camp when Ted Nolan, who couldn’t pronounce his name, called him out for his NHL caliber release?
I think about that a lot.

The thing is VO has the potential to be more than a PP specialist but he has a lot to work on. The AHL is great league to work on the finer details and Taylor and his staff are strong at the devlopment side of the game and that makes Rochester the best place for him. If you call him up now you risk him never being more than a shot.

Totally agree, my response was more cheeky for Ace being such a curmudgeon.

Given how the Sabres are currently setup, I’m perfectly fine leaving Olofsson and company down until after Thanksgiving. He can work on things and continue to be 2ppg.

Tho at some point this year, if he keeps this up, he will be coming up regardless of some aspects that need polishing.

Thats nice should we compare him to Kane? Hoffman? Every player who ever scored? They don't play the same they are not the same player. Trying to compare because goals then you can compare him to 100s of players.

Someone else brought up the comparison. I was just pointing out that Poms has had a nice career.

Pominville was a better two way player than Olofsson was in Sweden. I imagine that could change (and would be psyched if it did), but I would bet against it.

How could Poms have been good? Doug Weight had never even heard of him when cross-checked his back!

Olfsson and piliut should be on the team sooner rather than later.

Would love if he became our version of Palmieri, pretty similar size/style players, Kyle has a great shot too and has shown to be very capable of riding shotgun with talent. We're so long overdue to hit on a player like this.
