Zub and Whitecloud are my two favorite "under-rated" dman in the league. Does this effect Vegas cap structure for next year? as I know they are really close to the cap

These long term deals for low end and mid range guys are interesting….it tells me teams might have the hunch the cap is going to start going back up quickly and want to lock in guys now at “covid pricing”. Just an outsiders speculation

Or perhaps players believe the opposite.

Good deal for Whitecloud. No way a 3rd-pairing D-man that has essentially no upside should get a 6-year deal. There's literally no point to making that deal if you're Vegas.
