That's not even remotely true. They sent him down because Vegas had too many players on one way contracts. Are you really trying to school someone who has been following every bit of VGK news since the ticket drive was announced?

Tuch came up first because a spot opened up in the forward core, then Shipachyov had his contract nullified for failing to report to the AHL, and finally when space opened up when Vegas whittled down the high number of one way contract defenders Vegas wasted no time calling up Theodore and yes, he sat a few games in his first couple weeks but after that, he was a regular. He wasn't sent down again and was certainly never sent down for defensive weakness.
