I'm sure he would be better then Alzner, Schlemko and Benn (who's been decent so far)... giving him and extra year 2 years ago wasn't a big deal considering we gave Alzner that money anyway and still had 5M+ in cap space.

Watching him play this year, I would take either of those but not Alzner over him.

Just saw Max is coming off 6g1a in is last 5games. How does he look now? Did he find chemistry with his linemates? Found his confidence? or mostly lucky goals?

I'm really hoping for Vegas and Max he can put it together... it was sad seeing him in MTL last year, he wasn't half the player he used to be

He has looked pretty good even when he wasn't producing, but he was visibly frustrated about it. His last two games, he's looked like a ton of weight has lifted off his shoulders. his line has finally gelled with Eakin joining it. Eakin is lightning fast and a good compliment to him.

Also, Tuch said that while he was injured, Stastny was giving him a boatload of advice how to play with Patches while they sat in the press box during games.

Pac is the kind of player you need to learn how to play with and not the other way around, always been like this.
he positions him self somewhere and he waits there.

This has worked wonders for ovi.
I don't think Ovi's the same tbh. Except for the PP with his one-time, but that's a weapon Pac doesn't have unfortunatly.
About playing with Eakin, I think this might be a good fight for him. Eakin will be able to retrieve pucks and feed him. Even tho is not the most talented, he plays with intensity, similar line to Pac - Danault - Radulov IMO

Doesn't have to be. The point is there is a place for a "get into scoring position and let your linemates get the puck to you" role.

sure if you are ovy, even then it causes him some problems over the year and some doubt.
Pac on the other hand is not talented enough to do the same strat as Ovy and to get away with it constantly.

Yet he has scored 30 goals consistently. What are you talking about? Pacs has more weapons than what you make it seem like.

Looks like the pick was used to grab Fagemo, and LA sent 3rd and early 5th which turned into Norlinder and Leguerrier

good trade for both teams. Max should never have been captain, with that pressure off, and some quality C's in Vegas he should get back to regularly scoring 30-35 per year
