About "holy hell we got bent over in this trade" for a borderline AHL healthy scratch that we acquired as a free agent last season.About what?

Was a good prospect included in the deal along with Veronneau?
So....a Belleville deal?
How does this affect the farm team?
Solid. Bringing in some vets for the playoff run.
Not really. Bourque + Veronneau > Archibald for Belleville, especially if they give Archibald minutes over someone like Abramov. Luchuk isn't an AHL player. So that's decent then.
Are you serious ??? Like come on...We traded a good prospect for literally nothing.

This board just voted him as a better prospect than guys like Paul, Mandolese, Gruden and Allsing. Luchuk probably had the same amount of votes in all 30+ of those polls as he does points in the AHL this year. Its looks a hell of a lot better if we get the pick but the Leafs can easily just artificially without that. Are you serious ??? Like come on...

He was a former 6th round pick of the St Louis Blues in the 2017 draft. He finished up his OHL career, went unsigned by St Louis and singed an AHL deal with Belleville. He has only played 5 games this season with Belleville and spent the majority of the year in the ECHL.I have one question. Who the hell is Bourque?
About what?
You could say that about at least 10 guys in Belleville right now.If he's a solid prospect then... shouldn't he be able to get the NHL games?
how? they just traded for a contractIf he signed in Ottawa on the basis that we would give him a legitimate opportunity to play in the NHL then Dorion did the right thing for him. From what has been written, it seems like he was more of a perimeter player and we are trying to create a much tougher team than that. Another perimeter for a soft Toronto team, seems appropriate.
Perhaps more importantly we are back to 48 contracts.
