The future 1st could (likely does) have a lot of conditions attached. The unnamed prospects could be players that no one expects to ever realistically become NHL players. All the pieces in it are suspect until we know more. With the flames doing well, you could end up with a late 1st (if the conditions aren't too bad) 1.5 seasons of Tkachuk at 9M, and a couple busted players/prospects that don't amount to much. A ROR type return.

The deal really hinges on the extras.

Meh, I think you guys are probably better off not trading for Eichel at the rumoured price. You guys look scary again this year and have a legit coach that won 2 Stanley Cups within the past 10 years - better off trying to make additions without subtracting from the roster.
