If Vancouver is smart they will acquire another pick.

day 2 of the draft isnt open to the public, so it will have to be another 1st.

A positive note here is that there’s no way benning is gonna trade our first next year for anything short of McDavid

He can also ask sutter to waive his NTC and can trade gudbranson to get picks and work a trade to get into the second half of the draft

It would require a full personality/brain transplant for Benning to act that way.

If Benning thinks picks are too expensive now, just wait til he finds out the asking price now that the draft is in Vancouver next year (hopefully he'll be fired by then anyway). Basically what I'm saying is, don't get your hopes up for a surplus of picks.

I really like this. It'll be good for the entire city. As far as the Canucks go, this might actually put pressure on management to collect more draft picks when they're once again a bottom team in the standings like most of us know they will be.

It would be so fitting for the Canucks to trade their 2019 first and then spend all draft day trying to recoup a first to save face

Where's Virtanen?

It's like Soviet Russia where the people who are blackballed get erased from old photos and stuff. Remember how obvious it was McCann was on the outs before they traded him? Not that Virtanen is likely to be traded in the immediate future, but clearly part of the past management wants to minimize.

Lmao, they left Virtanen out on purpose

Oooh MAN to be a fly on the wall of that meeting, where they decide whether or lot to include Virtanen.

Lol, that is amazing.

Like if it was just Horvat and Boeser it would be one thing, but they literally run through 2013-2017 and just skip Virtanen.
