I'm happy for Dipietro but you kind of feel for both Martin and Silovs too.

Martin absolutely earned another game. If he couldn't go then it would have been a great opportunity for Silovs to show what he can do too. Opportunities that don't come along very often. (Martin spent some like 5 years in the minors between nhl starts!)

People underestimate our D. Hughes is an excellent dman. OEL and Myers are an effective pair. The rest is below average 4 to 6 but are nhl players. Overall they are an average D. Chicago and Pittsburgh won cups with similiar makeup. Not saying team compares but saying our dcore does not prevent winning.
