Just curious, but anyone want to weigh in on why corrado is the consensus pick over clendening?

I think he will get fed alot of unfair minutes because he is a Benning pickup, while the Gillis pick up Corrado will sit on the bench eventually waived and then lost for nothing... sound similar?

I will be very surprised if Clendening ever becomes a regular NHL defender on a team not finishing in the bottom 5. I see no sign of NHL potential...beyond Benning forcing him into the lineup.

Clendening is slower smaller weaker and takes bad penalties. Corrado was better in Utica this year. Is that sufficient?

That basically sums it up. The distance between the two currently is very small, however. I just think Corrado's extra speed gives him the higher upside. Clendening does appear to be the better passer of the two though.
