Clendening again. Going to surprise a lot of people next year.

I think he will get fed alot of unfair minutes because he is a Benning pickup, while the Gillis pick up Corrado will sit on the bench eventually waived and then lost for nothing... sound similar?

Not really. Who did we waive and lose for nothing?

I would say #5. Demko is a stud.

Yet, he is considered a prospect by the criteria used for these polls, so that's a silly reason not to vote for him.

My top 10:
Virtanen
McCann
Demko
Boeser
Kenins
Corrado
Cassels
Shinkaruk
Gaunce
Hutton

I would still vote for him, but he is 9th on my list.

Virtanen
McCann
Boeser
Demko
Clendening
Corrado
Cassels
Shinkaruk
Kenins
Gaunce

Is Kenins even a prospect? I think of him as a bottom six lock already.

I voted for Grenier. I think he is a prime candidate to surprise and make the team out of camp.

For me, it's still Clendening. Then Kenins, Corrado, Grenier.

And my, how mightily Nick Jensen has fallen. I will be surprised if he even cracks the top-15 in this. I would hazard a guess that Canucks fans would rate him behind all of the above, along with Brisebois, Hutton, Subban, Jasek, Zhukenov, Tryamkin and Pedan.

Kenins for sure.

After this, it has to be Clendening and Corrado in whatever order (they're tied for me), then Brisebois, then Hutton/Tryamkin/Subban/Pedan. Grenier sneaks in there somewhere, but he's still a longshot to me. Guys like Zhukenov and Jasek are probably just behind Jensen for now, but by next year I woudn't be shocked if they passed him.

It's getting close to the IDGAF stage for me, beyond that. Once Jensen gets voted in, I no longer care really.

Jensen has gotten one vote in the #6 poll, and the #7 poll. Those are the only votes he's gotten at all so far.

Sad...

I think Jensen just barely cracks my top 20, but I haven't thought that far ahead yet.

I am in that awkward spot where I have decided that Hutton has shown the skating and skills and has the upside to convince me that he is the next top prospect off of the list...

So I vote for him until the poll where the rest of you agree!

Kenins and Corrado a little long on the tooth to be considered hockey future 'prospects' imo.....guy I picked was Jordan Subban....going to be one of the surprises of training camp.

NHL readieness doesn't make one guy better. I still went with upsode, and I think I like Huttons' total package more than some other guys who are a lot closer. Know this may be unpopular but thats my vote.

Kenins vs Corrado for me.

Corrado showed some promise to be a Tanev-type player, with a better shot, but trailed off the last 2 years. Meanwhile Kenins has played pro in Europe before, but his only season with the Canucks were quite inconsistent too.

Went with Corrado as he is the more sure-fire right now and since Canucks lack D prospects making him more valuable.

I'm with you. Corrado has had some injury and concussion trouble, which has hampered his trajectory. But he has still shown flashes of potential top 4 defender and IMO deserves this spot over Kenins. I'd actually rate both Corrado and Kenins ahead of Gaunce and Shinkaruk.

Should be Hutton IMO. No slight on Kenins but whats his ceiling? is he going to be an impact NHL player? is his potential better than a potential top 4 D? I like Kenins and all, but it's not a popularity contest.
