I love it. Poolman is Tanev lite, huge fan of him. A little long at 4 years but AAV is good.
Huge overpay. I like Poolman as a #6 guy. He does not deserve that pay increase.I love it. Poolman is Tanev lite, huge fan of him. A little long at 4 years but AAV is good.
It is too long..but I like the AAV. Poolman is a very serviceable #4/5 dman, I like this player a lot.Honest question, do you know something others don't? This seems universally received as too long and too much. What am I missing?
It’s UFA, they always get a bit more than they should. He’s a #4/5 guy for me.Huge overpay. I like Poolman as a #6 guy. He does not deserve that pay increase.
If he’s your #4 or higher you better hope your goaltender is better than Hellebuyck. It’s UFA, they always get a bit more than they should. He’s a #4/5 guy for me.
He’ll play with Hughes or OEL, not too worried. If he’s your #4 or higher you better hope your goaltender is better than Hellebuyck.
To be fair, Finger signed for $3.5m on a $56.7 salary cap.Jeff Finger

That would be the equivalent of $5.03m per season under today's cap. Poolman signed for half of that.

Of course they are glad. They have Schmidt and Dillion why do they need Poolman? He’s a good #4/#5 at worst, 2.5 is fair for a right handed dman of his caliber. No, he is not. His underlying defence metrics are nowhere near peak Tanev. Literally, every Winnipeg fan in this thread is glad they didn't re-sign him.
Good god. Jim Benning will never learn.
