Well, he's not worth $2.5M. He's not as bad as his shot metrics makes him out to be. Maurice just really wanted a RHD to play with Morrissey, and Poolman is not equipped to be anything but a bottom pairing D-man, preferably a #6-8.

He has all the tools, but not the toolbox.

Poolman is a serviceable two-way D man who can play bottom pairing minutes but man, that contract is wild. Would not want to touch that with a 10 foot pole.
