His underlying numbers are quite good.

He did get a legit shot. He’s alright. Not much value on special teams but he’s a decent number 6 five on five who can be a pest. You’ll never really find yourself complaining about him if he’s on the bottom pair.

He's already cleared waivers and is in the AHL. He'd only need waivers if he was recalled and sent back down after appearing in 10 games or spent 30 days with the team.

Glover is 23 and had just been assigned to the ECHL. The focus was Friedman. Glover is a dead contract slot.

Rathbone will be a Group VI UFA unless he plays 52 games for Pittsburgh.

Rathbone is a bust, but I think it's been rumoured he was unhappy and they're trying to give him a fresh start.

Plasek was a dead contract slot.

Glover appears to be a slightly less- dead contract slot for an extra year. I really don't know a thing about him other than he was an NCAA UFA signing in 2022.

Of note: Glover played on a line at Western Michigan with Max Sasson.
