Would not do this as Kempe can play center and we don’t have enough depth there. Also he was good last year and has struggled the first part of this year so why do you think he needs a change so bad? Well besides you wanting him.

Baertschi has only had one season of productivity comparable to the ONLY season Kempe has had. Why is LA doing this?

Kempe stays he is exactly the type of player the kings need
as long as he gets back to how he looked near the end of last year 100% agreed.
Either way I would rather take that chance than trade him for Sven

Kempe was more productive in his ONE NHL season than Sven has been in several.
There's no deal to be had here. Downgrade in every way--age, size, potential.
What does this do for LA other than sell low, buy high? Don't be cute.
I'll take the speedy, big, angry, raw center over the middling complementary winger every day of the week. Kempe's got a big future here.
La is losing, so why wouldn’t they get rid of young speedy centres on cheap contracts. Sure we can’t throw JAD or Valardi in as well

Trying to trade an averaged sized 26 year old whose best season is 18 goals, 35 points for a 6'2" 22 year old whose ONLY season is 16 goals, 37 points....can you imagine what would happen if we proposed that in reverse?
We're starving for young talent. Aside from all the bluster about 'poor Sven', I'm waiting to hear how this benefits LA in any way.
