I'm kind of happy about the move just so that we don't have to hear from overzealous Canuck fans who think Lain is a viable prospect just because of his size.

The guy is awful, and has zero NHL upside, IMO.

This didn't add any contracts for us. Lain and Acton is a one-for-one swap, and Holmberg is on an AHL deal and thus doesn't count against our contract limit.

Yeah,it sounds like he's just not cutting it at the AHL level and was probably pressbox or ECHL bound so it's good to get a usable asset back in return and give Lain a shot with another organization.At least Acton is a decent AHL player and should be an upgrade for our center depth in Utica.
