The Raptors (5-3) are back on the road for a matchup with the 76ers (0-7) tonight in Philadelphia. Toronto has no time to dwell on their loss yesterday facing the second game of a back-to-back on the road against another Eastern Conference opponent. Philadelphia are still going through a rebuilding phase as they get their young talent game experience. The Sixers have yet to record a win on the young season but will be hungry to get the first one in front of their home crowd.
WHO’S HOT?
Jahlil Okafor – The third overall pick in this year’s draft has given Philadelphia exactly what they were looking for so far this season. The young Duke product slotted in immediately to the Sixers starting lineup and has become their main offensive threat, averaging 20 points and seven rebounds in seven games to date. With Joel Embiid, the 2014 first overall pick, still sidelined due to injury, Okafor can play freely and not have to worry about losing minutes.
Kyle Lowry – Whether the Raptors are up by 20 or losing big, Kyle Lowry’s compete level is never in question. Toronto’s point guard flirted with a triple double last night putting up a line of 23 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. The Raps have dropped their last three and will look to Lowry to help stop the rot in Philly tonight.

WELLS FARGO CENTER
Tipoff: 7 p.m.
TV: TSN

Philadelphia starters: T.J. McConnell, Nik Stauskas, Jerami Grant, Nerlens Noel, Jahlil Okafor.
Toronto starters: Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, James Johnson, Luis Scola, Jonas Valanciunas.
Key matchup DeMar DeRozan vs. Nik Stauskas.
To say Stauskas, the Mississauga native, is still trying to find himself with the Sixers is a gross understatement and it’s a matchup the Raptors should exploit. Stauskas is shooting just 29 per cent from three-point range and 36 per cent overall, starting five of Philadelphia’s games.
Need to know: How bad are things for the Sixers? They were drilled by Chicago on Monday night and are now 0-7 on the season, riding an overall 17-game losing streak that reaches back to last March . . . Toronto has won eight in a row over Philadelphia . . . The Raptors continue to list DeMarre Carroll as questionable with a sore heel . . . The Sixers average about 92 points per game, third lowest in the NBA . . . Top rookie Jahlil Okafor is off to good start for the Sixers, averaging about 20 points a game and shooting nearly 50 per cent from the field.
