Might rent Gettysburg from Amazon Prime tomorrow and finally watch it.
I checked it out from the library but it was scratched up and I was only able to get through a 4th of it :(

We still have Netflix.

I'd rather just keep Netflix than sign up for one of the shitty imitations, which are the reason why Netflix has gotten worse.

Peacock, get the f***ing boat

Netflix got worse because they shit themselves when there was competition and went for quantity over quality with their originals and exlusives. They now just pump out an endless amount of the same shite, especially on UK Netflix it's just constant adaptations of Harlan Coben books which are set in Britain for some reason even though he's an American writer.

Netflix was only popular before because it was the first one and it was an easy way to access a lot of people's favourite old shows, so brainless morons could just endlessly re-watch Friends and the US Office. While at the same time it was able to appeal by making its own flagship exclusive shows like Stranger Things, The Crown, Drive to Survive and The Witcher (which is the HBO model where they put all their efforts into making the odd really properly good thing every few years) but now Netflix waste time and money just regurgitating any old shit so they've lost their USP when Amazon were able to pick up a lot of all the older shows people want to re-watch as well as having their own original content as well as the non-TV related perks you get with Amazon Prime.

Netflix also probably losing customers in the UK because you can only re-watch Friends and the US Office so many times and we still have BBC iPlayer, All 4 and ITV Hub for free

So you can just endlessly re-watch British classics like Top Gear and Peep Show

This French Netherlands game is being played at the new york stadium in rotherham uk

Worst stadium name in English football

One of the lads at work loves a chat about football stadiums and bemoans when they have sponsorship names, and we have mentioned this one as having a terrible name

f*** off

The name of the stadium was announced as the 'New York Stadium' on 19 December 2011, chosen ahead of 'The Foundry' and 'The Waterfront Stadium'.[2] The reason for the name is that the area of land that the stadium lies upon is called 'New York'[2] and it was thought that it would be better to name the stadium after history and/or where the stadium is situated, like nearby stadiums Bramall Lane and Hillsborough. Also Guest and Chrimes used to make fire hydrants for New York City.[2] Chairman Tony Stewart also hopes that the name could bring investment from New York City or further afield, as the New York Yankees chairman had recently said that he wanted to invest in an English football team.[

English football stadiums have to have extremely mundane names like Stamford Bridge, Anfield, Old Trafford, Highbury, St James' Park, Hillsborough, The City Ground or The County Ground

That's the rules

f*** off with your sponsors

The worst stadium name in sports is the "Totally Wicked Stadium" which is the home ground of St Helens in Rugby League

"Known as Langtree Park until 2017" - see, sufficiently mundane

Apparently "Totally Wicked" is an e-cigarette company

Don't you have an antenna

I can hook up an antenna to my TV, but I can't keep it hidden behind the TV otherwise I pick up just about no channels.

Also, with that setup, I would need some way to record shows, which at that point, I would rather just pirate it
