It would be a complete shame to punish AJ by taking him out of the lineup. he's been real good and he makes it so we can role 4 dangerous lines

It was bound to happen , not that he was horrible by any stretch .

All good tho
Lots of factors could have played into that .

I thought we played decently in the first period, but wildly inconsistent in the second and third.

We found a way to win and bank two more points going down the stretch to the playoffs.

This is a game we would have found a way to lose before the rebuild.

Whoever came up with that comp of Arvidsson for Johnsson was bang on.

Hopefully he works hard and reachs that level.

His speed, hands, two way ability and intensity make him a very reliable player.

The playoffs are a different beast. I want Leo in at his chirping best against Boston

Difference between good teams and bad teams:

Bad teams need to stay dialed in for the entire 60 minutes to get a shot to win. Good teams do not.

We are clearly the more skilled, the more deeper team and that's why we won.

Difference between good teams and great teams is that great teams are always dialed in. We're close.

Also another record you guys seemed to have missed.

Players fell down 172 times in one game. Thats a record that will stand the test of time.

Hainsey has been very bad since coming back from injury to be honest. Might be time to replace him with someone else

looked pretty good with gardiner
problem is rielly-zaitsev hasnt really worked.
Dermott-Zaitsev would be solid but Polak isnt moving up.

I wouldn't be shocked to see this at some point in the playoffs

Rielly-Dermott
Gardiner-Zaitsev
Hainsey-Polak

The rush ended with the winning goal, a tap in. In the last minute we are running around in our own end Marleau gets on the ice game over.

Funny how Kadri is having his best year with Marleau on his wing l guess that nothing to.
Yes, the rush was great and important. That's why I said he had a terrific rush. If you want to end your evaluation there, that's up to you. I look at what he did other than that, where he didn't retrieve the puck, win battles, help us relieve pressure, transport the puck, or set up pretty much any offense at all.

Kadri is not having his best year. He's been a step down from last year in his two-way game, and he's having a similar year offensively which is driven a lot by the PP, where he doesn't play with Marleau. His even strength production has only really started to come on when Marner was added to the line, and Marleau has contributed to remarkable few of their goals.
