Exactly. It's stupid.

RNH hit Sutter in the head with a high stick. Sutter got up and went after the player (who at the time he says he didn't even know it was RNH).

It was a good job by RNH sticking up for himself and he handled himself in the fight quite well.

The Cowen goes caveman and tries to cave Elliott's face in.

I am a huge RNH fan, but man, it's not like he is Gretzky or something.

Exactly, The fight was pretty even no need for such gutless retaliation.

First off, good on Nugent-Hopkins for standing up for himself. Shows the kid has some balls and is willing to duke it out from time to time.

Secondly, good on Nicholls for getting in there so quickly after the sucker punch by Cowen. I like to see guys who stand up for a teammate when a dirty play happens.

Hopefully everyone involved is ok but it could have been a lot worse.

8 games is a joke of a suspension, that's for sure.

The classic untouchable was Stevie Y when Bob Probert and Joey Kocur were with Detroit. I'm pretty sure the bruise bros whouldn't have gone for the "I didn't know who it was".

Josh Cowen is he the brother of Jared?

I don't know the answer but looked at their date of births and found this.

Josh was born Jan 4th 91 and Jared was born Jan 25 91 so not brothers but could be relatives.
