Standard also trailing Fehervar at the half.

Way better second half, so there will be 3 Belgian teams in the GS

Not a great week for Czech Rep, with Slavia failing to reach the CL GS yesterday and Plzen getting upset in Israel tonight. Slovan Liberec the only team to advance

Also both Croatian teams left made it, Dinamo as they should but fantastic win for Rijeka in Denmark against Copenhagen

Bulgaria finest, CSKA Sofia just beat the shit out of Basel. Sadly the bulgarian mafia will probaly take the money. CSKA could really need that money, to challenge Ludogorets as nr 1 in Bulgaria.

Aren't Levski Bulgaria's finest? :DD

Pretty dramatic night for Scandinavian football. Every single northern European team are out. KuPS, Rosenborg, Malmö, Flora Tallinn, Copenhagen, Klaksvik, all done. Shame really, too many Eastern Europe garbage in the GS again.

Surprised Rijeka beat FCK, they have really regress the last few seasons because their Italian owner left and their manager is something of an offensive minded coach but they went to Denmark very defensive. Probably don’t have enough quality to compete in the EL but good for the coefficient after some bad seasons.

Lots of surprises today, Milan on their way out, Wolfsburg out, Sporting out etc

This is absolutely incredible. Both teams can hardly even put the ball on target and the goalkeepers have already missed theirs.

Eventually Milan won 9-8 after a LOT of missed penalties.

Two well taken goals by GLC.... imagine looking at a player with his skillset and thinking wow he would be useful as a holding midfielder. What an ass clown Emery turned out to be.

Hapoel Beer Sheva, Lech Poznan and CSKA Sofia were the only teams to qualify after starting from the 1st round; some notable teams who failed to qualify (Wolfsburg, Sporting CP, Galatasaray, Besiktas, Basel, Copenhagen and Viktoria Plzen)

Granada, Leicester, Antwerp, Sivasspor and Omonia Nicosia qualify for the group stages for the first time (Leicester did play in the CL group stages, the other teams have never made it in the 'modern' era group stage of Euro competition). CSKA Sofia return after 10 years

Also, I think Scotland will move past Turkey this season in the coefficient standings (12th place) so their future champions won't have to go through qualifying, that should stop the Celtic fans crying on twitter that their club has to "resort" playing random EE clubs which they can't beat anyway :sarcasm:

What will probably happen...

Arsenal / Qarabag / Milan / Random horse and carriage Country

That Milano and Rio Ave was probably the best set of penalties I’ve ever watched. Just constant goals, some insane misses - like the Rio player hitting double posts - And as it went further the amount of missed shots steadily increased. The goalkeepers taking it was so bad to watch lol. I thought for professional athletes they’d do much better than that. Still that was super entertaining.
