Boston, definitely
Maybe. I definitely respect the ability of that line. The top the definitely go to COL, BOS, and TB. Though.
Boston, definitely
Sorry but he has never been strong defensively. He has always been rated amongst the worst in the league. That has always been a meme that gets repeated. Just like how hf thinks he's a PP specialist, even though prior to this season his PP production was trash compared to his 5on5 #s. Tyson has long been perfectly fine defensively and has been even better than usual this year.
71 points in an 82 game season

I mean he’s one of the three best offensive dmen in the NHL. If he was strong defensively he’d be the best dman in the league lol.Sorry but he has never been strong defensively. He has always been rated amongst the worst in the league.

He’s not poor defensively. He’s an elite #3 that can play top pairing minutes. And play well. Just not big enough to play the top pair consistently imo.
it's a shame Chia couldn't make some trade for him back when there was friction between Barrie and Sakic. Now likely finding wins heals all wounds and we'll have to look elsewhereTyson Barrie is to Colorado what Tory Krug is to Boston. One of the top 3-7 offensive d-men in the game who get a bunch of hatred from their own fans because they don't play D. Would love to have either on my team.

He played well. We know he uses his stick. He battles. His defensive IQ is really good. Rarely lost back there. I just think it’s not ideal. Or his strong suit.I don't even know if that's true anymore with how well he played after EJ went down.

I'll joke about him being trade bait when he scores a goal, but he will leave a big void if he leaves.
Not only does he have huge chemistry with MacKinnon on the ice, they're pretty much best buds off the ice. Can't imagine MacKinnon being happy if the Avs just ship him off despite his good play.
It really does seem like a lot of people just want to finish trading away our '09 draftees.
Barrie is underrated defensively. The reason some AVS fans want to trade him is because they don't believe he'll resign in Colorado. It's not because they think he isn't good.Tyson Barrie is to Colorado what Tory Krug is to Boston. Marchand - Bergeron - PastrnakIt’s not the best line in hockey? Who’s is then? The only other 2 I can think of would be TB or BOS.

Barrie is 8th among NHL defenseman in scoring (4 points away from being 4th) despite missing nearly 6 weeks with an injury.
Really amazing in the O-zone and PP but man is he bad in his own zone.Just hit 50th point in only 58 games. What a season he's having!
Before this year he would have not gotten even close to that.Eh, Barrie wasn't ever going to be traded before Duchene. And after the haul Joe got for Duchene I don't think he'd move Barrie for anything but a young stud like Leon...with whatever plusses could make it happen.
So unless you're down for turning Leon into Barrie, Kerfoot, and some picks; I don't think you'd have liked what Chia would've had to give up to bring T-boobs in ;-)
Before this year he would have not gotten even close to that.
And I still disagree.Never said he was strong defensively, I said he's been perfectly fine.
As for the bolded, that's why his two-way play is hugely under-rated.
