Eklund Rumor: Tyler Myers to Leafs/Bolts?

Our good buddy and top insider Eklund is reporting the Leafs and Bolts are making BIG pushes to get Tyler Myers. Tyler ended the season healthy and practicing full contact with the team and was reported to be ready to play if the Jets had made the playoffs. Thoughts?

Contract two more years at 5.5 cap hit and a real salary of 3.5 & 3.0.

I am reporting Eklund is making a BIG Bluff to get some action on his web site .

Don't think there is anything to get this done, unless Myers is dealt for a young D who has top 4 potential (Connor Carrick) and Toronto's 1st Rounder in '17 or '18. But Winnipeg would want an existing top 4 d-man in return, for them to deal him. Even if that means Winnipeg has to add from their forward depth.

Toronto just isn't a fit, IMO.

There was an E4 beside TOR so you know its serious. lol. I honestly don't know what his value would be at this point, and it varies between Jets fans, some want him gone for basically nothing.. He can be one hell of a player when healthy thats for sure. Don't think theres any movement on this untill we/if we get Trouba signed long term.
