Was particularly obvious during the '16 draft that this would be one of, if not the best value pick of the draft. He fell because he's small. That's really it.

At worst, he's going to be a scoring threat in the AHL. Not bad for a 7th rounder.

I just noticed the other day that his signing period was about to expire. Really glad they got it done. He's small, but that's only if you apply the old standard. Once the wave of Rasmus Dahlin knock offs hit the league his size probably won't be an issue.
Hopefully he can be like that other pesky little Vancouver Giant, Gallagher from Montreal. He's not big but you always find him right at the goalies front door.
