You think Columbus is gonna let that fester in the locker room for two years until he's arbitration eligible?

The faster they move him out the better. The players know he doesn't want to be there. The organization knows too. There's no way they don't move him earlier than later.

I think his value and tradeability was affected when he signed a contract is all. Was much more tradeable beforehand.

I dont think so imo. The acquiring team gets a whole year to work out a deal to their liking if he can perform if not they likely can come recoup a decent amount of the capital gambled.

its always true in these cases the haul back is always less than expected once the situation is settled so to recoup a loss wouldn't be as bad as most think if say it didn't work out for the team trading for him.
