Um Petan is really good! Not a grit move like people wanted but MUCH better than Lindholm.

Hard to say if he finds a spot in Babcocks system, but at the very least helps the Marlies big time.

petan at one point was a top 3 prospect for the jets. He was ppg in the AHL last year. If he can play center we can have a small but skilled line of ennis-petan-moore for our 4th line.

Wonder if Nic plays tonight. I'm guessing not though.

Dubas's building strategy is trying to replicate the Montreal Smurfs. If the last 3 years of junior don't show any improvement then chances are you don't have an NHL player.

Petan used to be a pretty hot prospects.

You guys asking "who?" really don't remember him at the World Juniors? He was one of our top guys.

Is he gritty?

Yes. Small, but gritty. Someone who may be able to be a top 9 guy going forward, but can slot on the 4th line this year and next as we need cheap depth guys.

And it's Gauthier's 4C role full time now.

You're gonna love Petan, more some unknown reason Jets management never gave the kid a chance.

He looks like Nicklas Backstrom lite on the power play.

Don't think Babcock will play him much either.

Hope Lindholm is a good player for you guys.
