Murray is only 27 so he wants term. My guess is Guerin prefers to hand out as little term as possible unless it is for a star.
When you hear "longer-term" how many years do you think that means? Why would you want to sign a guy like Murray long term when you have Brodin signed forever and 4 quality prospects on the way?
Kinda a weird way to say it, but:
Minnesota could be one of the few teams still open for business with Buffalo after FA opens. They're very unlikely to pursue any long-term/high-cost players, and either way we need roster players going the other way to free up salary. That would be great for the Wild the longer it goes IMO.i dont understand how you feel like you have all the time in the world to trade a guy, who has a 10 mill cap hit, after teams sign free agents.
adams is an idiot

A sigh of relief for many here.
Victor Rask is really about to center our top line again…
I am good with this. We are not as desperate as Vegas or the Rangers.
Try to get Pius Suter and roll with Rossi.
That doesn't mean that a deal cannot get done. He needs to test the market.Russo said too much $, but maybe since we're out on Eichel we move to Suter.
His NHL resume is small. I'd give him that for a 1 year deal, but nothing longer. How much is Suter looking for that it's too much? I'd think somewhere around 4-4.5 would be fine for our "2C" and at least give us a better center option for Kap or Fiala the next couple years.
HahahaI don’t know if it takes bigger balls to trade for Eichel or really roll Rask out as 1C in back to back seasons.
