i dont understand how you feel like you have all the time in the world to trade a guy, who has a 10 mill cap hit, after teams sign free agents.

Minnesota could be one of the few teams still open for business with Buffalo after FA opens. They're very unlikely to pursue any long-term/high-cost players, and either way we need roster players going the other way to free up salary. That would be great for the Wild the longer it goes IMO.

How much is Suter looking for that it's too much? I'd think somewhere around 4-4.5 would be fine for our "2C" and at least give us a better center option for Kap or Fiala the next couple years.
