I'll be the commish!

I too, Like many of you would like to keep this going! Therefore I would love to be your Commish. All I ask though is please lend a helping hand every now and then, it's my first time doing this Commish thing.

With that said TRADING SEASON HAS BEGUN AND THE ISLANDERS ARE ON THE CLOCK! We will have a 12 hour period for teams to make their selections and whoever doesn't make their pick will be skipped. Now, if you know you will not have time to make a pick the next day or that morning/night, send a list of 5 or 6 (more if you like) players who you want so I can make the selection for you and you won't miss out on a certain player you are interested in.

Let's get this under way and let's all keep having fun and enjoy ourselves.

P.S. Please don't forget to PM the next GM, Thanks.

P.S.S. TourettesGuy, sorry to hear about your lose, our condolences are with you and your loved ones, God Bless.

Colorado's GM Taking about the Recent Trades

Avs GM avsfan91:

“This has been a very busy off-season for us and the re-opening of the trading market was no different. I am very pleased to welcome Chris Summers, Colin Long, Matt Smaby and Brett Sonne to the Avalanche Organization. I feel that all four of them will be able to help us now and for many years to come. I am also happy to announce that we also received the 4th overall pick from Tampa and the 35th overall pick from Phoenix in the deals. With the added picks, I am very confident we will be able to build a strong foundation.â€

“I would also like to thank Ryan Smyth, Marek Svatos, Brett Clark, Marc Andre Bergeron and Kevin Shattenkirk for there time in Colorado. It’s never easy trading players that were such good guys on and off the ice. You all will be missed and I wish you all of you the best on your new teams.â€

**** by Columbus.

You know i had to do some serious thinking about this one. Turris hasnt evolved like i thought he would, and it was hard to give up Boedker but you gotta give up pieces to get pieces. I was glad to finally find a suitor to take Jovanovski's salary, and fedoruk, eh. It was worth it. If the game continues im going to need to figure out a way to resign nash.
