As of now 7 pts separate the 2nd team from the 8th with the 8th having 4 games on hand on the 2nd.
Who makes it at the end?
Who makes it at the end?
i know im gonna regret saying this and someone will probably bring this up in april but id have to assume the caps are safe and will get in
Its so close. Anything can happen. I have no clue who gets in. I just hope the Caps make it.I went from thinking the Pens were going to miss the playoffs... to thinking they finish 2nd in the Metro. Life comes at you fast.

Washington and Pittsburgh will make it. I see the other 3 teams making it as likely first round exits at this point

Have confidence... you're just forecasting Caps making the playoffsi know im gonna regret saying this and someone will probably bring this up in april but id have to assume the caps are safe and will get in
It's funny that people forget how long the season is and every team's fans were saying "must win" for games in November to keep pace with the rest of the division. Yet, the Rangers started like crap and are in the playoffs. Pens look to be in full speed to take 2nd as you said. Capitals looked completely human and a bubble wildcard team and now are running away with the division. Flyers lost 10 straight and are right in the thick of it. Columbus and Isles sputtering badly in the last little bit.
Funnily enough, the most consistent team has been the Devils. We all predicted that...
New Jersey | 42 | 22 | 12 | 8 | 52 | 19 | 3 | 4 | 12-6-3 | 10-6-5 | 133 | 130 | +3 | 4-3-3 | Lost 6 |
Well technically he’s not wrong. We were consistently winning before. But now we’re just consistently loosing. So we are in fact pretty consistent. They are still making the playoffs however.[TBODY] [/TBODY]
New Jersey 42 22 12 8 52 19 3 4 12-6-3 10-6-5 133 130 +3 4-3-3 Lost 6
The Canes are now 8th in the Metro, but will be in a playoff spot if they win tomorrow.
How in the hell does that happen?
