how nice of you to consider trading the great William Nylander for a signed Panarin+I’m a firm believer Nylander will be a Leaf for a very long time, but...Panarin, in his own right is a very dominant force. I’d consider peddling Nylander in a deal for Panarin, if he’s came with a contract extension plus another enticing asset (ideally a right handed defensemen prospect)
Yes, you could argue Panarin is a better player currently, but he’s also 5 years older , he’s going to cost more cap wise and we have less controllable years (simply because he is in fact 5 years older).
