Leipsic is such an oddball. He just doesn't produce. Watch him play and you think 'Just a matter of time before this guy starts putting up points' and it never comes.

Easy to see why teams keep taking a chance on him but there is also a good reason he can never stick anywhere.

Step 1: Move Kuzy onto the Leipsic and Hathaway line.

Step 2: Call it the 3rd line to not hurt Kuzy's feelings.

Sunday will be 10 games. It was a dumb decision by the coaching staff to keep dragging this out. They should have put him on LTIR around game 3 or 4 when it was clear he was still a bit away. If Siege is out they may not have a choice; they may need to put him on LTIR and call up two guys.

I don't get the argument. Can't they LTIR him retroactively at any time?
