I think for a 3rd and 5th goalie in the system, those guys are fine, no?If Kallgren and Petruzelli are counted on for any length of time I’m going to be very concerned. I guess he has talent but totally untested
Meh. It isn’t hard to trade a contract. If we had to I’m sure we could have.Sure are lucky NAK got claimed

lol moving a contract is easy as hell, can prob find someone to take for future considerations or at worst a 7thNot that easy or they would be down some like other teams purposely do
Campbell probably should be with the way he's been playing recentlyOne question.... Does he drive a Zamboni?
Ah deflection.Campbell probably should be with the way he's been playing recently

That's not true. If you have good relations with other GMs surely one of them would do you a solid in a bind. Just like in any other business, it's good when someone owes you one.Nobody is helping a team in a bind for free.
Nobody is helping a team in a bind for free.
But we're talking about the Leafs. Ripe for the taking. And at this time of the season no team with aspirations of making the playoffs will help without taking advantage and there are only about 3 teams committed to the rebuild. All 3 would be committed to taking advantage...That's not true. If you have good relations with other GMs surely one of them would do you a solid in a bind. Is it really "through the system" if he was drafted by Detroit and played 11 games with the Marlies?Maybe Petruzelli ends up being a diamond in the rough? Would be nice to have a goalie actualy graduate through the system for once.
Genuine question....has the contract limit ever actually stopped a team from making an addition? Like even once. Seems like one of those things that is talked about disproportionally on here for the amount it actually matters in reality.Only if that player has some worth. If he's more or less worthless it would cost an actual mid round pick at least. Nobody is helping a team in a bind for free.
Yes?Is it really "through the system" if he was drafted by Detroit and played 11 games with the Marlies?
I mean...yes seeing as he never played a single game in the Wings system lolIs it really "through the system" if he was drafted by Detroit and played 11 games with the Marlies?
