So it seems like Dallas wasn’t happy enough with our 6th D from last year (Polak) so they wanted our 7th D as well

That would make sense since Jerebek was traded. Seemed a little bit fishy that a team would want Carrick to clear first since his value is at the NHL level and he would stay there, where as the teams may only want the goalies for spot duty before a team would want them back in the AHL (unless they saw them as a backup upgrade) without risk of having to lose their investment to waivers.

We will see what goes down, but anything better than a 6th would be good at this point.
