A decent preseason doesn't negate 5 years of replacement level goaltending. Jones hasn't had a good season since 2018. There's still a chance he doesn't get claimed.

He's absolutely garbage. He got hurt so maybe that is why but not physical at all and just takes dumb penalties because he is behind the play.

It would be a mistake for Blake to miss claiming him. Jones did a solid adequate job for most of the season in Seattle last year.
