LTIR might be the best possibility for his career moving forward too. I honestly hope he's injured (not in a malicious way), because he at least has some course of action to fix things. He can then have his agent sprinkle magic dust on a GM next season to convince them the injury is gone and he's back to form.It was always an odd signing to bring in a PP specialist to a team that was ranked 2nd in the NHL on the PP last year.
LTIR is the best possible outcome for the Leafs if that's a possibility.
