If the Leafs are giving up Nylander, no chance can they do that without getting a RHD back. The inability of Dubas to address the RHD issue has been the Leafs biggest problem IMO. They've needed someone to play with Rielly who isn't Luke Schenn or Justin Holl.

There was a report recently that Hanifin wanted to play in the US, so it seems a bit shortsighted to make him the centerpiece of a deal involving Nylander
Toronto is probably close enough to the US if he wants to be traded. No one is lining up for him at the moment

Flames should be trading Hanifin for futures and shouldn't be trading Dube. Value is good for us, just the wrong type of trade. Not sure paying 20M for 2 one dimensional wingers is a good way to build a roster. You can maybe work around high priced one dimensional winger. You can't work around 2.

Why? Toronto has most things that US big cities have.

Btw, I live in the US
The guy says he wants to play in the US so lets trade him to Toronto.

Don’t see it given Hanifin wants to play in us exclusively . Think lindholm and Zads is a more likely combo

lmao, honestly though Toronto is super Americanized compared to the rest of Canada

But as for the proposal, no from me. Lily looks fantastic, he's going to be in our top 4 for probably the next 10 years
Toronto may be a little more Americanized but the Canadian tax code, the overly obsessed fans who can't respect a persons personal space or time, the annoying media, are all things that can't be overcome unless you simply don't play there.

you just described New York, and most major American cities, in totality

Weegar has been excellent some years and average for some as well. If he stays at the top of his game he's worth the contract, if he doesn't he's overpaid.
Lol he's just as good as Devon Toews, I doubt you would say he is overpaid at 6.25M. Weegar is on an excellent contract that will become average to a bit overpaid by the time it ends.

Also what year was he "average" in your opinion
