Lets say that available assets to go other way are Bjorkstrand, Milano, Wennberg?, Bobrovsky, Savard. Also youngsters and draft picks including 1rds.

Looking for Marner, Eberle type of scoring winger to play with PLD and Panarin.

Eberle maybe. Though in an interview Lou said he was assessing the team this season so it's hard to say.

From an Islanders perspective I would probably do Wennberg for Eberle+(given he is a UFA, Islanders would probably have to add, they might get the value down if he agrees to an extension) since we could use a center

Not really, Marner is really really good. No sense of trading him unless we're getting a clear upgrade.

He definitely is. But the Leafs chose Marner over him 3 years ago and I think they’re happy with their choice. Leafs do need D, but I don’t think it’s coming at the expense of Marner.

Zuccarello would absolutely kill it on that line.

Natural RW who plays a hard two-way game. Has played for Torts. Creative playmaker with a scoring touch. High motor. Fan favorite. Slick in shootouts.

Watching him on the right circle with Panarin on the left would be filthy.

Marner is already elite. He does the little things.

Jones is elite as well. Hes pretty much guaranteed a Norris at least once in his career. Jones had 12 less points than Marner. AS A RH D-MAN! I wouldn't even have to think about trading Draisaitl for him.

For sure he is but he also shoots left which is not what we need with Rielly / Gardiner / Dermott on the roster already and Babcock anal about his pairings
