Erik Gudbranson 3-15-18
Brayden Schenn 14-27-41
Vladamir Tarasenko 19-30-49
David Rundblad 5-22-27
Gabriel Langdeskog 13-20-33
Ryan Johanson 21-34-55
Tomas Tatar 14-17-31
Jared Cowen 3-19-22
Nino Niederreiter 14-23-37
Michael Granlund 20-24-44
Ryan Nugent Hopkins 20-31-51 (if drafted by the Oilers and plays with Hall)

Are these point estimates? If so, Cowen will be hard pressed to break 15 points

yea point estimates

and I'm thinking Johansen, if he makes the team will play with Nash, unless he completely flops and goes back to the minors.

I think Teemu Hartikainen will surprise people next year. I'm not saying Calder finalist or anything just an outside shot at cracking the top 10

Surprised nobody has mentioned Kuznetsov, 17G in KHL, great in WJC, going to high octane offensive team with great Russian team-mates to ease his transition to the NHL.

Pretty sure he's staying in the KHL for at least next year.

They might not even be in the NHL next year. Colborne might if he has a good training camp and off-season. Frattin will probably either be on the third line or in the AHL. Gardiner could be in the NHL but most likely not.

Frattin seemed NHL-ready in his debut but I don't think there's room on the roster for him or Colborne this year. Gardiner may have a shot if he's ready to help out on the Leafs awful PP.

IMO the Calder is Brayden Schenn's.

The obvious answer is whoever Toronto drafts with their first rounder this year. He will play C between Kessel and Lupul and put up 90 points :naughty:

See, now you know what it's like when other people see Edmonton fans projecting their prospects all being PPG players and Hall a 100+ point player.

The difference is that Hall will very well likely be a 100 point player, and guys like Eberle will be a PPG. I don't see any Leafs prospect that has that type of future currently.

The three calder finalists will be the following:(Alphabetical)

Ryan Johansen(Columbus)
Brayden Schenn(Los Angeles)
Erik Gudbrandson(Florida)

Gut says Johansen puts up 60 pts playing alongside Nash and wins the hardware.

If Selanne retires and the Ducks spend their money on the backend, I could see Kyle Palmieri doing very well. In 2 years, he will be on the second line with Holland and possibly Smith-Pelley. All 3 are strong players and fit the tough image the Ducks have. Add in Justin Schultz and I really like the looks of the Ducks in a few years.

I doubt Schenn wins next year simply from the fact that I don't think he'll center the 2nd line. I could see him as the 3rd/4th line center because Terry Murray won't throw a rookie in the fire unless it is because of injuries. And I think Loktionov would be the 2nd line center over Schenn just because Loktionov to me has more skill, something that we really need. No doubt Schenn is more well rounded but Lokti has great vision and passing and will most likely fill 2nd line role before Schenn. Alas I doubt this happens as Stoll will be the 2nd line center still and then 3rd will most likely be Richardson centering our best line in the playoffs of Clifford-Richie-Simmer.

As for my pick, Adam Larsson. I think he's going to be an amazing NHLer.
