The top ten greatest doesn't seem necessary since we'll all be posting the same players in a slightly different order. My top ten since I've started watching, in no particular order:

1. Saku Koivu
2. Carey Price
3. Patrick Roy
4. Jose Theodore
5. Andrei Markov
6. Roman Hamrlik
7. Andrei Kostitsyn
8. PK Subban
9. Shea Weber
10. Kirk Muller

edit: At one point I would've had Recchi very high in that list, but after the whole Max thing, he could f*** right off.

Suzuki will get there soon.

I'm starting around the start of the Gainey era, because that's when I started wstching clksely.

I value winning. So players from the teams that went to both conference finals get most consideration.

Nowhere land
Petrov, Perrault, Zholtok on the 1st line was f***ing brutal.
Just after Pierre Turgeon and Damphousse got traded, Koivu was alone as #1 center.
Then Koivu got injured and the #1 center for half of the season was Craig Darby. That was the worst years of the Habs. I think today at least we have some interresting players like Gallagher, Domi, Weber, Petry and Tatar. But I must add today bad teams doesn't s*cks as much as in year 2000.
