How much salary could LA retain if Buffalo took on Dustin Browns contract? That would drive the cost for us down if Muzzin and Toffoli were coming back.

Because? Why? Ho-Sang has more talent than Toffoli, and Toffoli seems to have stagnated, character issues? The same ones that Richards and Carter had? overblown, and with Kopitar, Brown, Carter, Phaneuf, Lewis, Quick etc on the teams, better atmosphere etc,

Richards and Carter has character issues ?
This guy has also problems with on ice play (read, does not play defence) and I dont believe he will ever be as good as Toff

No it’s not unlikely at all. What was dragging him and his game down was the system and coaches. He has thrived playing withKopitar and DS refused to play him there. I will be fine keeping Brown moving forward as many games he has been our best forward. Still no chance we retain anything if he was moved.

That was the argument when they first came to L.A. etc,

Ho-Sang is 22 years old, played a grand total of 44 NHL games, bit early to say his reads and does not play defense etc,

All TT needs is to play with his normal center. So many seem to forget or ignore Carter was out all year. It would be very risky to move TT for head case Ho-sang.

Ho Sang is just not enough value for a player like Toffoli.

Toffoli is worth a 1st ++, Ho Sang is currently worth around a 2nd. If he came back with a 1st for Toffoli, he would be the add, not the centerpiece.
