Reading some of the posts on page 1, there is a LOT of crow for people to eat.

Ya, I didn't read the whole thread, but I'd be interested to see if people changed their view and gave reasoning. Like the people who said Toffoli was the Flames best player and Conroy got hosed.

It's easy to see how this was a "retool" type trade vs a rebuild. It set the recipe for a lot of the moves this season - find a young up and coming NHLer who's blocked on a stacked roster and see what you can get.

His situation and reluctance to commit beyond this season could mean he's flipped before next TDL anyway. Maybe even this offseason.
