I do not have a sense of dread as we have him for his prime 7 years. After that given how physical he plays, I expect a decline thereafter and maybe shorter career than if he played a softer game.

Agreed, watching them hug in the dressing room was great. That is what team sports is all about, brotherhood (or sisterhood) and creating bonds.
