Tennessee’s numbers have been up, higher than Minnesota, but about an extra 1000 per day
Oh, the graph I saw hadn’t updated that then.Yes, but Minnesota had 1470 new cases on Friday, more than Tennessee had
Shutting down until Saturday covers a 4-day incubation window and ample time to run all the tests. That’s a minimum. That’s assuming nothing else is out there. They knew this coach had it and thus didn’t travel and were in the building yesterday.Seems a bit premature to declare the practice facility shutdown until Saturday before knowing how many more players/staff contracted the virus. If they determine within a couple of days only a handful of employees and staff are positive, then treat it like an injury and have those people quarantine for 2 weeks. In the meantime, scrub the facility clean.
No Bueno......sounds like the game this week may be in serious jeopardy

Didn't take 4 days for the Vikings to determine they were clean.
Tests aren't back
If the Titans are found to have not followed protocol or done something wrong. The simple fix is the Titans forfeitAt least it's a pretty easy fix if it does get postponed (which I find likely, tbh): Titans' bye is week 7, Steelers' is week 8. Steelers play the Ravens week 7. The Ravens' bye is also week 8. Thus:
- Steelers/Titans moves from week 4 to week 7. Both teams have their bye week 4.
- Steelers/Ravens moves from week 7 to week 8. Baltimore has their bye week 7.
On the plus side, the MLB already showed that you can regain control over a covid pandemic (albeit while looking like a massive dumpster fire initially) if you commit to shutting teams down until they're clear. Which is what they've done here.
If they limited it to just the Titans and Vikings in time then this should be a relatively simple fix. Both teams get their bye this weekend and then you move their corresponding games into the old bye week
