Koivu is our matchup center most of the time, part of the reason why what he did in 2016-17 was so impressive.
Staal is #2, not because he great defensively, but he's a talented veteran who you can usually trust not to get completely swallowed up by the opposition, and push offense.
Our bottom 6 wingers for a vast majority of the year were a combination of Ennis, Stewart, Winnik and Foligno. Parise came in at the end, which changed the equation a little bit, and Coyle was there too, I guess. But I don't care who we had centering either line, they were never purposefully going to be matched up against top lines with the 4 guys (maybe 3 guys, as Winnik is fairly reliable), running out there most of the time.
