GDT: Three-Quarters Assed - Coyotes @ Devils

I hate to bring up last year now, but man if we had only won 4 shootouts like we did this year and just had one less DeBoer special (out of the 8 blown multi goal lead games that we lost), we probably would have made the playoffs. Not to mention if we didn't suck so badly in the season series against the CBJ.

I'm gonna be really bummed if we miss by just a hair this year.

I'm not believing in the playoffs yet, though the wins are nice.

Did break the dreaded 3 game win streak though, so that counts for something.

I still hope Arizona gets McDavid or us or the Sharks or Panthers if none make the playoffs.

Don't want BuffaLOL, Laffs, Oil Tankers, or Nascars getting him. At least one of those teams is pretty much guaranteed Eichel though. Don't want CBJ or Philly getting him either.

I could live with Ottawa winning the lottery. At least they wouldn't be so boring anymore and I wouldn't fall asleep while watching one of their games.

Though you'd have to wonder if McDavid might end up falling sleep on a breakaway while playing for that boring team...

Cory was outstanding and he had to be.

The Devils were sloppy and did not play well.

Elias and Jagr were awful tonight.

Larsson/Greene were very good.
I liked Henrique's game until that last second turnover which almost cost Cory the shutout.

Cammo showed good speed in his first goal and smith robbed him twice.

Good to see Gomer shoot and score.

Got the bounces tonight but if they have plans to win vs Calgary they must be sharper and much smarter.

I hate to keep beating on the guy, but we lost to Philly, Dallas, Ottawa, and Carolina all in the last two weeks of his tenure.

Philly was really a mess at the time, so was Dallas. This was even before their recent streak where they looked to briefly come alive and get back into the playoff race.

And Carolina has been bad all year. Come to think of it, that was Khudobin's first win of the season too.

The only thing I remember about that game is Henrique being the third shooter and some guy nobody has ever heard of scoring the shootout winner.
