maybe we could loan him to Europe, I'd like Murray to get some good starts (provided he's good enough).

They probably simply could've brought back Mannino. Or sign one of the other dime a dozen career minor league goalies. But sending Zatkoff down is an option at least.

In all seriousness, I like this signing. Solid back-up, that could possibly be a starter going forward. If he does eventually replace MAF, he will come at a very reasonable cap hit too! Good job so far in FA by Rutherford, just wish we got more for Neal.
