Ok, so should someone give a wake up call to everyone in the prospect business and tell them Grigorenko has 0 (zero) points this year, and that even if he once had the potential to be a superstar, he's pretty much done since the accident? I don't know, while I didn't see him play, I'm growing tired of seeing him on top of every list without any justification.

EDIT: Sorry, Grigorenko scored his first goal (and only point) of this season yesterday.

Olesz should be 4 stars and ahead of Bergenheim, Grigorenko, Kaspar, prolly Steen, and Tukonen.

Alexander Ovechkin, Wsh, LW: 5 stars
Evgeni Malkin, Pit, C: 5 stars
Rostislav Olesz, Fla, C: 4 stars
Lauri Tukonen, LA, RW: 3.5 stars
Lukas Kaspar, Ott, RW: 4 stars

Alexei Kaigorodov, Ott, C: 3.5 stars
Alexander Steen, Tor, C: 3 stars
Sean Bergenheim, NYI, LW: 3 stars
Igor Grigorenko, Det, RW: 3 stars

Olesz has heated up in the last month and has been one of Sparta's best players as the youngest player on the roster on the best team in the leauge.

Carter/Parise in the 5 star range. Olesz should also be a 4, Grigorenko a 3, Kesler and Koivu a 3, Nystrom not there.

Agree with you on Carter/Parise, disagree on Olesz, agree on Grigorenko, agree on Kesler and disagree on Koivu.

To me, the surprise was seeing Wheeler and Stafford with 4 stars. Wheeler I don't know much about so I am intrigued. I don't feel Stafford deserves it, however.

I'm not surprised by Suter's 5 stars but God, this guy is the most overrated defenseman since Komisarek. The misguided Suter lovefest continues...

Kaspar and Wheeler are a 4 but Getzlaf, Stewart, Fehr, O'sullivan and Barker are 3's?

This list is garbage....

Eaves, Stafford, and Wheeler ahead of O'Sullivan, Seabrooke, Barker, Fehr, Perry, and Stewart? Montoya a 5?

Awful list.

Where the **** is Jan Steber?

Unless I missed the sarcasm(entirely possible), there are far more deserving major junior guys who should be there over a guy who has 15 points in the QMJHL, IMO.

You are wrong.

Jan Steber = God.

Question to those who have received their hockey news already...I for one have not.

Do they do team by team breakdown?

And do scouts have any say in these lists?

I can't justify Lukas Kaspar being ahead of Olesz and Michalek my self, or Montoya a 5! Or Parise below Suter with a 4.

I'm confused.

I'm very surprised that Mike Richards isn't on that list. I would have thought he'd have been rated over at least a few of those guys. As for Carter, I don't think he's a five star guy, but maybe a 4.5 guy. He's obviously better than any of the other 4 star guys, imo, but not as highly touted as the 5 star superstar prospects.

from what Ive seen of Coburn this year he should be a 3 or even a 2
I agree, the bit I've seen from him is far from impressive.

May take some heat for it, but I would be shocked if he ever cracked the top 4 in the NHL for an extended period of time.
