Wait a minute. Hold on just a minute. Let me make sure I read this right:

They GOT RID OF FREE FOOD IN THE LOUNGES?

What the hell is the point of them now then?

I am a Fire Lounge season ticket holder since they opened the place (and family had Gold Circle since day one)... So I am waiting to see how this plays out... But they lowered the ticket prices substantially, I believe $28 less per seat, with an option to pay the same as before and keep the $28 as a "food credit" (I guess for corporate folks giving these to clients)...which is dumb for regular season tix, as it doesn't roll over (and lost on unused tix). And that they would have improved, premium a la carte food options unique to the lounges, but you now will have to pay for it, just as the booze was never free.

Essentially it is a private food concourse with slightly "better" food, but I am curious how adding a pay stage will create lines, crowds waiting for food, just as in the concourse.

Also, they changed vendors to a more upscale company.

With so much change, I assume the roll out on this will be FUBAR beyond words.

Well I will never pay for a fire or ice lounge ticket so I'm not worried about it but I am surprised.

Gluten free concessions and no more peanuts! Save the children!

I do appreciate the gluten free stand. I bring someone with Celiac's to the game pretty frequently and they're happy they can get a meal when they need it rather than just snacks.

I'd be elated if I were you. That's a ~$2,500 saving per year on a pair of seats. For fairly crappy food? Great trade.

My two cents :

No big loss.

The NFL and NBA kind of need the cheerleaders.

The NHL doesn't.

OH and this :

Check out the old man in the bottom left. Apparently this happened after watching one of our forgettable games last season.

I know, right? That's just crazy talk.

Look at these girls.... I mean...... how on EARTH could anyone in their right mind compare them to strippers. Oy.

As someone who only goes to the cheap strip clubs when I do go (Once every two or three years while nearly blackout drunk), I will say that they look nothing like the strippers I'm used to.

 :(

Don't sell yourself short, NSP. I think you're worthy of upper-lower-middle-class strip clubs.
