Scrappy as *** wire to wire.

Came back on the Brewers in the Wild Card game, stunned the Dodgers on a Howie Kendrick grand slam, and then somehow won 4 road games against the team with the best home record in baseball when the chips were down.

Probably one of the more impressive postseason runs in recent memory tbh. Hell of an effort.

Many congratulations to the Nationals and their fans and any Expos fans who chose to stick with them, which probably isn’t many.

The Tigers 2014 postseason rotation has finally won it all - albeit in different uniforms. The Nationals practiced the comeback during the full year and executed it very well today.

With that being said, the Redskins are due for a Super Bowl run.

Amazing run, amazing series, amazing game. Got to love seeing some of these long time Nats get it done.

Is it just me or did this decade produce a lot of first time championship teams. You had the Giants, Cubs, Astros, and now Nationals. That's quite impressive and does show parity is there (Maybe hidden in plain sight) in baseball.

Realllly good timing by the Nationals too given Zimmerman, Rendon and Strasburg are all FAs.

I imagine at least one of those guys are back (Rendon probably) but at the very least they got something to show for it if their window closes over the winter.

Imagine how Tigers fans are feeling. Verlander, Scherzer, A. Sanchez, Price and Porcello all won rings.

None with the Tigers.
At least for me, it feels pretty, pretty good (since JV already had his "missing" ring). Scherzer was elite all the time and Sanchez made an impressive turnaround after leaving Detroit.

Gruß,

Defecits the Nationals overcame in elimination games this postseason:

Wild Card: 3-1, 8th inning (2 out)
NLDS G5: 3-1, 8th inning
WS G6: 2-1, 5th inning
WS G7: 2-0, 7th inning (1 out)
